About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to become part of an excellent remote team. You will be a key player in ensuring we deliver the highest quality software by working closely with our development team throughout the Agile process. This is a fully remote job!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Agile team to design and execute test cases for functionality, performance, scalability, and security.
- Develop new tests and continuously work to improve test coverage and product quality.
- Perform manual testing and create detailed manual test plans.
- Design and implement automation test strategies, selecting the right tools and techniques for the job.
- Empower developers by improving test efficiency and ensuring features are well-documented and testable.
- Contribute to the evolution of our testing frameworks, processes, and methodologies.
- Help maintain and enhance our software release processes and tooling.
About You:
You are a proactive problem-solver who is deeply committed to your team’s success and the quality of its output. You are passionate about finding efficient ways to deliver robust software.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of software testing experience, with a proven track record of shipping high-quality SaaS or embedded software products.
- Expertise in designing and executing test cases using various techniques (e.g., functional, performance, security).
- Hands-on experience with Linux.
- Programming/scripting skills for test automation (e.g., Python with pytest, Shell).
- Solid understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST API principles.
- Basic familiarity with C or C++.
- Experience with some of the following: Docker, Kubernetes/Docker Compose, GitHub/GitLab CI, Playwright, Robot Framework.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
