Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Electrical (EL) engineering team, ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Analyze technical contract annexes and develop the Electrical Discipline Job Manual, incorporating project-specific specifications and contractual obligations.
- Prepare project documentation, including:
- Single-line diagrams, protection & control schematics, terminal connection diagrams, and substation layouts.
- Electrical calculations (short circuit, power balance, cable sizing, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection).
- Layout drawings (equipment location, cable tray routing, lighting, grounding).
- Hazardous area classification.
- Installation standards and material take-offs (MTO).
- Coordinate with Package Units, other disciplines, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless integration.
- Prepare inquiry packages for electrical equipment in compliance with project specifications.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for electrical equipment.
- Support subcontracting processes (BoQ preparation) and supervise on-site erection works.
- Review vendor and project documentation for compliance with industry standards and contractual requirements.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in plant engineering, specializing in MV/LV systems (HV experience is a plus).
- Strong ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage workflow efficiently.
- Experience in proposal preparation & project execution for domestic and international projects.
- Vendor, supplier, and client interface coordination.
- Software proficiency: MS Office, AutoCAD, Dialux. ETAP (or similar power system analysis tools) is advantageous.
- Language skills: Fluent English (German or other languages are a plus).
- Soft skills: Strong interpersonal abilities, teamwork in a multicultural environment, and willingness to travel (short/long-term assignments, up to 6 months).
