For our client, we are looking for a Senior Project Engineer (Civil Engineering) who will draft and design roles in the projects in the area of preparation of calculations and drawings for foundations, buildings, and structural steel.
Responsibilities:
- Communication and coordination with other disciplines regarding his scope of work and considering the “work flow”.
- Reporting to and coordinating with the Engineering Manager on matters regarding manpower requirements, schedule, budget, productivity, priorities, technical solutions, and other factors affecting the work.
- Ability to work independently on the preparation of proposals and execution of projects for Civil for domestic and international projects.
- Coordination of Package Units, vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Coordination of interfaces with the client’s technical discipline specialists.
- Verification of project and vendor documentation with respect to its completeness and accordance with standards, branch regulations, and contract requirements.
- Analyzing and evaluating technical contract annexes.
- Preparing the project-specific Civil Discipline Job Manual, including all relevant specifications, and considering contractual requirements.
- Planning, managing, monitoring, reviewing, and approving the discipline’s work regarding appropriate quality, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Ensuring the quality of engineering documents and material supply according to contract requirements.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering,
- Eager to work in a multicultural team, willing to travel short and long term (3-6 months) to other engineering centers and construction sites worldwide,
- High interpersonal skills,
- Knowledge of AutoCAD,
- Knowledge of 3D software, such as Smart Plant – additional advantage,
- Knowledge of EU Standards for Civil and Structural design,
- Fluent in English,
- Minimum basic knowledge of geotechnical aspects – understanding of soil conditions, ability to check soil reports – additional advantage,
- Experience in onshore oil and gas civil and structural design,
