We are looking for an Azure Data Architect to support a strategic program at well-known Automotive company in Wroclaw. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining cloud data solutions in Microsoft Azure, with a strong focus on architecture, governance, and security. You will act as an architect, guiding both technical and business teams and ensuring solutions comply with enterprise frameworks and standards.
Responsibilities
- Build solutions that combine data from multiple sources to support company’s processes using the latest Azure technology stack.
- Support team members with technical issues, platform administration, and access rights.
- Understand business targets, challenge choices and roadmaps, and prioritize needs based on technical capabilities.
- Act as a data and cloud expert, sharing knowledge with other architects, engineers, stakeholders, and platform experts.
- Develop data architecture with a strong focus on data domains, modeling, quality, and sensitive data protection.
- Document technical and architectural specifications and provide architectural advice in collaboration with business analysts.
- Act as architect in data projects and assist in creating Business Use Cases for reporting projects.
- Define architecture of data management and advanced analytics solutions in the Azure cloud.
- Ensure solution compliance with company’s frameworks and standards.
- Develop documentation of system components according to obligatory standards.
- Support IT team in implementation, testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct code reviews and quality assurance.
- Maintain Azure Data relevant resources.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture & Engineering.
- Experience with business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting in enterprise environments.
- Strong background in design, development, and implementation of solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Good understanding of data security topics, from networking layer to the end-user interface.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (administration and data engineering) and Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity with Azure services (SQL Database, administration, IAM, Data Lake).
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Excellent English skills (C-level). Polish not required.
